Brief Outline of IGCTools ×

GSCM - structure mapping and ray tracing A 3D Linear/Nonlinear (Curved) Ray tracing from structure data to estimate Areal extent for 3D seismic survey design. This tool images and produces maps of structures as they would appear before and after migration of seismic data and helps to identify contour crossing areas on incorrectly migrated structure maps.

 AFPAVO - footprint modeling and corrections A seismic data acquisition modeling technique to estimate acquisition footprints, apply footprint correction, and extract AVO for the target seismic reflection. The user can model/user data for analysis. Implementation of this technique in a production environment is available and a quote shall be provided upon user request.

GPHToolBox - organization and examples A unique user expandable toolbox with option to add user applications and comes with 170 workbooks – Mathcad (72) & Excel(98) tools in Seismic Survey Design, Processing, Modeling, Interpretation and analysis. This tool is useful for organizing in-house exploration applications and tools for convenient access and launch. These tools are presented as Mathcad and Excel WorkBooks.

StrucMap - generating maps Used for quickly generating maps for testing gridding methods and variograms. Modeling a Fault Polygon. Restore Tops: Displacements are Removed and added back after Restored Structure is Contoured. Model and Map Pinchouts as Truncating Surfaces. Model and Map Unconformity. Model and Map Statics. Calculate Volume Volumetric for Gas/Oil/Water. IGC offers training in IGCTools and Geophysical courses.

GravMod - modeling and mapping gravity anomalies A tool for Modeling and Mapping gravity anomaly of geometric shapes. Modeled data is calculated in 3D to generate line profiles and gravity anomaly map for the selected model.

MagMod - modeling and mapping magnetic anomalies A tool for Modeling and Mapping magnetic anomaly of geometric shapes. Modeled data is calculated in 3D to generate line profiles and magnetic anomaly map for the selected model.

ExportMapCharts - tool for exporting application outputs A utility to export Maps in all Surfer (.srf) files from a directory to a Powerpoint presentation and Word Document. Excel Charts from all Excel files are exported to a Powerpoint presentation and Word Document.
