Applications in GPHToolBox

Description:

This training is hands-on by the participants with brief presentations by the instructor as outlined here. The participants will perform parallel tasks on their laptops with the instructor. Instructor will provide explanations on various aspects of this tool.

This is a tool for organizing Worksheets generated with Mathcad and Excel and other Worksheets generated with other applications. The instructor will review each of the following Databases: (1) SurveyDesign; (2) DataProcessing; (3) AVO; (4) Attributes; (5) InterpretationTools1; (6) InterpretationTools2; (7) Well Logging; (8) PetroPhysics; (9) Geology; (10); Engineering; (11) User Applications. The instructor will briefly review the Mathcad worksheets (72) and Excel Workbooks (98) included in the GPGToolBox. Mathcad worksheets and Excel workbooks cover topics in 2D ray tracing modeling for flat layers, AVO modeling ( using Zoeppritz), 4D reservoir monitoring, Thin sands thickness estimation, frequency absorption, and many other topics in most of the 11 sections listed above. Some of the Mathcad worksheets and Excel workbooks are duplicated under Engineering, and a few other sections as place holders. The instructor will demonstrate and lead the Participants in deleting, editing, and adding files into the database for GPHToolBox for convenient and quick access to the workbooks or worksheets entered into the database.

Tasks:

Edit or delete existing records of workbooks and worksheets in any of the 11 sections

Add newworkbooks and worksheets records to GPHToolBox database in any of the 11 sections, especially in User Applications

Review Mathcad worksheets and Excel workbooks in (1) SurveyDesign; (2) DataProcessing; (3) AVO; (4) Attributes; (5) InterpretationTools1; (6) InterpretationTools2; (7) Well Logging; (8) PetroPhysics; (9) Geology; (10); Engineering; (11) User Applications.

Exporting saved screen graphics, and excel charts to a PowerPoint presentation and word document

Prerequisites:

Purchase and install of GPHToolBox IGCTool, Mathcad15 (PTC). Microsoft Office Tools required are: Word, Excel, Access, and Powerpoint.
